"During my childhood, I remember watching my grandmother make soap at home. I dreamed of doing the same as her, of creating and discovering my own recipes!"

While searching for a soap rich in moisturizing properties, I am particularly keen to reduce plastic use by avoiding "shower gel" type packaging. This is why I decided to create my own line of natural soaps, with an assortment suitable for all skin types.

And there you have it, my dream has come true! A reality I want to share with the world: products that hydrate during personal hygiene and also help reduce their ecological footprint."

As the poet John Donne so aptly put it, "No man is an island," so I too surround myself with collaborators, some more willing than others, such as family and friends. This network primarily helps me with the marketing and distribution of Cinq Huiles products. They are part of this small vessel that wants to embark on great explorations!

New Economy Prize of the Municipality of Gland

For the first time, the City of Gland launched in 2020 a call for projects "New Economy Prize - in search of tomorrow's solutions" aimed at companies and entrepreneurs from Gland.

Its goal: to inspire initiatives geared towards the common good that directly impact the local economy and contribute to the quality of life of the residents of Gland. The participants rose to the challenge with creativity and commitment.

Among 26 participants, CinqHuiles was recognized for its focus on local sourcing and for offering a range of skincare and haircare products. Its handcrafted soaps and solid shampoos were praised for their production using a traditional cold process saponification method and for their 100% natural, high-quality ingredients, as well as for their plastic-free packaging and respect for the environment.
