Botanical
The argan tree, Argania spinosa, family Sapotaceae, is a thorny tree with edible fruit and oily kernel found mainly on the arid hills of Morocco and more rarely in the regions of Andalusia and Mexico.
Manufacturing
ECOCert & Organic Fair Trade
In a screw press, healthy, cleaned fruit is cold-pressed without the use of any solvents or chemicals. The oil is then filtered successively through blotting paper. Deodorization is carried out mechanically using steam. The oil is then stored away from light and heat.
