Hemp belongs to the large Cannabaceae family and the Cannabis genus. There are several varieties of cannabis, distinguished by the psychoactive substance content of their seeds. The best known, and also the one we use, is Cannabis sativa. It is an annual plant that grows wild almost everywhere in the world. It germinates in the spring and flowers from late summer until the end of October. It is cultivated mainly in Africa, Asia, and South America. We use a variety of cannabis whose seeds contain no psychoactive substances. Therefore, the plant has no value as a drug. The plant has the appearance of a small bush or shrub with dark green, fir-like leaves.

In a screw press, healthy, cleaned seeds are cold-pressed without the use of any solvents or chemicals. The oil is then filtered successively through blotting paper. Finally, the oil is stored away from light and heat.
